Welcome!

President Gordon B. Hinckley said . . . "You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of these meaningful, significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be of significance only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experiences."

Spent the Memorial Day weekend  visiting Jesse, Nicole & Isaiah.  Grandma and Grandpa were there too!  Lots of eating, watching movies and this morning was craft time with cousin Isaiah.  M made a box for her treasures and Isaiah made a rocket!  FUN!

Trip to Universal Studios

Like usual we had annual passes that we did not make much use of, so since our Universal Studios passes were set to expire we thought we 'd make use of them one more time!  It was a nice day out and we had a great time! We also got to check off something from our family bucket list

M posing with George!

Shooting Stars End of Year Banquet

Tonight was M's dance banquet.  Not only had she been talking about this night for the last few weeks, she was also very concerned about what she was going to wear.  The coaches told the girls that they needed to get dressed up for their "banquet", M came home and told Walter the following "Daddy, for my 'bank account' you need to wear a suit, mami needs to wear a dress with high heels and I need buy a NEW PINK DRESS!"  I was listening from the other room and started to laugh when I realized she understood "banquet" to be "bank account".  Well M got her way and wore a pink dress to her "bank account" and we ended up having a great night out with all of the shooting stars and their families!  Can't wait until next year's dance season.

The theme of the banquet was Hollywood Red Carpet.  When we walked in each star had her own Hollywood Star!  Super cute!

The team had won a ton of trophies over the course of the season, so at the banquet they gave each dancer two trophies and then raffled off the big Team Trophies!  Here M is with the big trophy she won!  Yikes, where are we going to put this?

M and the rest of the Shooting Stars Team!
